Joshua T. Ricard, Jr. is a young, dynamic voice rising from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A young man given to love, encouragement, and strong faith. He is also a full-time AT&T Sales Consultant and Finance student at Louisiana State University. Joshua is a passionate minister and maturing leader at United Christian Faith Ministries. He is a young producer helping with many projects at his local church's youth choir. Under the Leadership of Dr. Mark A. Ellis, Sr. He is maturing in his calling to teach, walk in his prophetic calling, lead, and transform lives through God's Word. His story is proof that God can take a troubled past and build a powerful future!

How Mind Under Construction Came To Be ?

On July 16,2023, The Holy Spirit spoke to me clearly as I was meditating on the mercy, goodness, and love of God towards me. I was thinking about how He had saved me from so many mental battles that I thought I would never get out of. Certain impulses, urges, and ways of thinking that were destructive and holding me back from what He has for me. Insecurities, fears, doubts, and just low self esteem. As I began to think, I immediately heard The Holy Spirit say to me write a book. I was starstruck hearing this instruction because it genuinely wasn't something I wanted to do. I hated writing essays and even reading books honestly. Beyond that, I knew and could sense when it was the Holy Spirit talking to me. So, instead of trying to figure it all out, I began on July 17,2023. I started planning and being prayerful about the vision He was calling me to birth. The interesting thing about this whole process, is not only writing about my life experiences, experience living the Word of God, and reliving the exact content in this book all 2024! The most interesting is when I prayed and asked God why did He call me to write this book. I needed an inspiration as to why I was the one to do it if this was really Him talking. He clearly said to me in a soft whisper, "Joshua, I have called you to be a voice of wisdom, a prophetic voice that will speak My Word with clarity, wisdom, and love. Adding nothing and taking nothing away. There is coming a season of intense warfare for My Body and if they do not learn to renew their minds and walk in the Authority I died to give them, their faith will not survive this season. Be strong and courageous. Write the book!" After hearing this it gave me the courage to write and after seeking wise counsel to see if this beared with their spirit and them bearing witness. Mind Under Construction came to life! I pray this book blesses you, not just recieving knowledge or insight, or bringing attention to myself, but an introduction to true transformation and a genuine life upgrade.
